I think both are very stout. Amsoil always had good products. The question is whether they can justify price? I don’t think so, as other blenders have also very good oils. Also, we get here into that issue of blender not having approvals (AEL has VW504.00/507.00) and advertising as “meets or exceeds.”
Amsoil's rates are on the higher end so it's a bit surprising some of their products don't have manufacturer approvals. I can definitely get better deals with Motul.

Motul has their "Specific BMW LL-01FE" in 0w30 but I haven't been able to locate the data sheet. Do you or anyone here have experience with this line? I'm curious to see how it stacks up against their X-Clean+ EFE 0w30 - https://shopmotul.com/product/specific-ll-01-fe-0w-30
