Apparently only if your in sports mode is when that isn't as significant. Even in the S models.

Yes. All Audis have that slight lag compared to BMWs. Only Audi that doesn’t have it that I’ve driven is my A7 and ex-A6. There is no lag at all with those supercharged engines. Even my SQ5 has that slight lag.
