I can't speak to the wheel caps, but I swapped the hood and trunk badges on my 330i a few months ago. The process was painless and only required painter's tape, plastic putty knife (or equivalent), and patience. Picked both up from ind distribution, who also posts tutorial videos on how to do the swap.
