Tennessee is overrated since they are pretty much a one dimensional team with little in the way of a passing attack, and App St. knew and prepared for that, stacking the box on most plays. But Tennessee is also not as bad as they played against App St. In that game App St. played very well, but Tennessee also played poorly and only used some of the playbook.
Any team playing App St. should take them seriously. But, just because the UM vs App St. game may be a close game, it's not necessarily a good game. Richt won't let App St. sneak up on UM like they did to Tennessee. So, unless UM is a bad team or just plays bad, I think they should win by maybe a bit less than they beat FAU. If UM play like they should, I'd say they should win by about 17-21 points. Either way, I don't expect it to be a good game.
