[Portimao Blue M440ix]

I just picked up my new to me 2022 M440ix in Portimao Blue CPO. This is going to replace my 2007 335i coupe funny enough a similar color as well Montigo Blue.

Its was a long search with some highs and lows. The low was I just about to put an offer in on a 2022 M440ix in Dravit Grey with red interior but on my last inspection with my new paint gauge the vehicle had some non reported body work done to alot of the vehicle. I did put in a low offer on a 2022 M440ix in Arctic Race Blue being it was my third favorite color the price had to be right but I couldn't close the deal.

Now to the highs. My favorite color is Portimao Blue and 6 hours away they had a 2022 M440ix that feature wise checked most the boxes. The car didn't have the adaptive suspension its an option in Canada but I did get the carbon fiber kit, Motorsport engineering package and laser lights. Coming from the 335i which is very firm I find the m440ix ride quality to be much more forgiving then the 335i. In the many talks with the salesman he didn't even know the car had the carbon fiber kit installed (1st high) which I found on the VIN check. After making the 6 hour drive to see the car in person which is in mint condition I was able to work a deal to buy the car.

On to another high. Now I have the car at home after getting its full front ppf and ceramic tint done. I am getting ready to do the exhaust valve mod so getting familiar with where the valve is while I wait for the stainless steel wire to come tomorrow. I am under the car and low and behold to my wonderful surprise I find an M Performance Exhaust under there. What a great surprise and that would explain why the car sounds so good.

Looking forward to May to bring out the new baby and possibly saying good bye to my 335i.
