The 370Z has been in that no mans land forever and barely sells. What magic act can Toyota bring to this fight that no one else has? The MkIV was an impressive car, but was a sales flop, like the 300Z, RX7 and Porkpie 3000GT.
Well the 300ZX had pretty decent sales in the beginning. All in all they sold about 90k Z32 in the US from 90-96.

What went wrong with the 370Z? IMO it got uglier and more expensive.
