Same in my car. I tried both and it wouldn’t show up. 2020 330i xDrive.

Is your 330i an M sport version? If it isn’t, then I’m guessing there’s some other coding already present on the others’ cars (I noticed that those that have managed to get this enabled have 330i M sport cars) that helps them enable the M logo. Mine is a non-M sport and probably doesn’t have that line coded in.
If yours is an M sport car, then no idea. Your guess is as good as mine.
