Just for clarification....

Some areas of Britain get a lot more snow than 1 day every two years and roads are not always cleared.....

In these areas then winter tyres may be the best option.

For myself, although we do get more snow than snusnu quotes, I live in an urban area and roads are generally cleared so have managed in the most with summer tyres.
