I would have to agree with this. Most of us purchased BMW's because we trust and know the brand and the cars drive amazing!!!

Now if you go and screw around with a bunch of stuff thinking your smarter than the BMW team than good luck.

I have made a few mistakes in my day modifying cars so I know from experience the wheel size is critical to how the car drives and handles.

A 20" wheel is the absolute MAX I would consider on these cars and only if I live in an area with no potholes and no cold weather with snow/ice and salt.

19's look good but I wish the car was .5" lower or .75" lower maybe a full 1" lower.
It's not a question of being smarter than bmw.
BMW team set up cars that will satisfy a majority of people. A 80 year old driver may think standard suspensions are too hard, a 20 y old guy will think it's too soft, etc
Good coilovers enable you to set up the car exactly how you want it.
In my country the roads are as flat as a board, so I am not worried at all...
