CXP is a carbon film, not ceramic. It is a mid grade tint, while noticeably better than a dyed tint, it is noticeably worse than a ceramic tint. With that said, if you are happy with it, that is what matters. My point was more about the "never pay more mentality", as plenty of us are willing to pay more for that extra performance (especially here in the sourh), much like I did with my 340 vs a 330

Wasn't so much a "never pay more mentality" as it is a "don't overpay" mentality. To get the CIR would have been an extra $150 so $600 is overpriced in my opinion. This is also a very reputable company and not some weekend warrior installer. Either way, ceramic is overkill for us in Chicago so there is no reason to spend the extra money
