Welcome to the non-updating M340i club.

My favorite part is how CD and Genius support won't even respond to my weekly emails asking for an ETA on a fix.

Everyone affected has registered an email address with BMW as part of the CD process. They must know the extent of the issue and which cars are affected. It doesn't take a genius to correlate that list and send out an email blast apologizing, explaining when it will be fixed, and perhaps even proactively offering a free month or two of services. Simple, intelligent, good customer service would go a long way.
