My stock M3 6MT is extremely difficult to launch quickly. Obviously a tuned version would be worse. My guess is the M specific suspension (compared to your 440) is not ideal for getting hard, clean, launches. I even had 275/295 tires and regardless of all of this "throttle control" talk, this is a hard car to get off quickly, at least in the 6MT.
