Hope it is some advanced noise cancellation system, which can be 'dialled up' on bad surfaces.
Virtually all BMW models would benefit from that sort of product.
For the OP, most models will be virtually free from tire noise on good surfaces. Tire noise, to the cabin, increasing as surfaces change.
Current sound insulation will depend on BMW model ranges and is greatly influenced by the wheel/tire combination.
