Taking my M340 in today to get ceramic coating and tinting done. The shop says they have dyed tint, along with a few other types that range in pricing.

If I'm reading this correctly, I should be getting the dyed film with little to no IR rejection, correct? Want to make sure I get this right and avoid the auto dimming issues everyone has been reporting.
You will get less interference with a dyed film, and seeing as you are in MN you will most likely notice the dimming a lot more.

Now keep in mind that even dyed film will cause some dimming if you go too dark, but comparatively it's not as bad. If you go 25% or less you will still notice some dimming, it's just not as noticeable.
Thanks for the advice. Had 25% on my F30 but was wanting 20% this time around. Thinking maybe I should just stick to 30% to be safe?
