I'm not surprised by weight increase as it is significantly larger than before. It is officially 2/10th of a second faster in 2WD than 340i, didn't feel much difference when I drove one as I have MPPSK so I have 369 lb ft, which is the same as M340i but less horsepower. So the additional heft may cancel out some of that.
