Does anyone know if the "Factory Reset" option within iDrive only resets settings accessible within the iDrive UI? Or does it also reset ECU parameters that can only be changed with Esys/Bimmercode?

Just curious if this action is a true 100% factory reset of all the programming in the car, or if it's more superficial than that.
