My current F32 435i is almost 4 yr old now. Looking for a new car. Was going to get the 530e last year but eventually didn't.

Saw the unveiling of G20 last fall, didn't like it first but finally settled because of financial reason.

I have test drove one a few months ago and did it again last weekend.

——Power——
I can feel additional 82 hp above my N55 300hp from standstill. The initial acceleration is very good. Faster than 435xi. But I don't feel much improvement after 100 km/h. Maybe I didn't downshift enough? But goddamn, that crackle and pop in Sport mode!! So much better and louder than my 435i

——Transmission——
The coding is improved or the 8 speed ZF is. In sport mode, auto shifting, when u tap on brake pedal, car actually down shift for you. 435i does not.

——Tech——
The centre screen is smaller than X5 and X7 as expected.

Also, the counterclockwise tach is weird.

The digital instrument cluster is not that great, not taking full advantage of digital screen. The gear is very small on lower right corner if u don't use the BC button to switch it to bigger on right side of screen where G-meter, sport display, music albums was.

The tach in hud is good but too small and don't show gear or exact rpm.

I didn't get to test assist driving feature. I don't care about backup assist. But real 360 camera is good. Need to see how to code it always on after like my f32.

Laser light is a much. Base LED light looks like sh1t. Also need to see how to code anti-dazzle back.

—-Interior—-
Design is newer. But BMW cheap out on ambient lighting. Venasca is just another name for dakota. Which is sh1t. No ventilation or massage seat, disappointing.

—-Conclusion—-
I am going to buy it. C43 interior design too old even with LCI. S4 is so bad in driving dynamics. Too bad BMW Canada doesn't offer RWD anymore.

In Canada, I am getting

- Black individual full merino. (Has to be, i hate vesasca/dakota, $1900 bucks with premium excellence pkg)
- Premium excellence $8300
- Adaptive M suspension $600
- Black 791M wheel with PS4S $500
- Black grille and mirror cap 250 (although i still want to buy or get dealer to throw in the 330i black grille)

Dealer told me individual will be 3-4 months. So I hope I can get it before Xmas. Lol. Will post pic once I get it.
