I've used a lot of carnauba, but it sure doesn't last. Melting point of carnauba is 180 F. An 85 degree day can easily get the paint to that temp and we have days 20'degrees hotter than that.

I have been using synthetics and sealants for the last couple of decades to get some actual longevity, topped with carnauba for a little pop for a few weeks. Plus, who doesn't like a dusty car?

I'd suspect what many of you are seeing as longevity is really just your prep work holding up, not the actual wax. Try a synthetic, any will do. I'm partial to non sealants as I find the finish and optical depth of sealants to be a little artificial, but you sure can't beat them for durability.
