Performance figures very close to the F90 M5
Not in a rolling start, 1/4 trap, etc, etc....not even close.
My base F90 M5 did 2.9 0-60... Stock. Sooooo. Like another poster said, stop comparing to M models. M340 put up impressive numbers and that's that. On another hand, 118 is kinda slow in the quarter.
Edit. Meant to tag the dappercivility guy/gal
Not that slow for a grocery getter that's not a full fledged M car.
That was really meant for people claiming similar performance to M5. I agree with you, the tuned numbers look great. I really want to see the Dyno graph, really curious about the HP curve.
Bmw also did an impressive job on the X5 m50i.. sick truck 4.4 tt 523 horse off the show room floor, it's no slouch for a 5,000lb suv. My boy has it I've driven it and power to weight it's neck n neck with the m340.. that v8 might have the top end but it's a close run the whole way..
I bought the G05 X5 50i when it first launched and it is impressive. M50i should be even more so. I may wait a year or so and just upgrade to X5M.
It's mind boggling what not just bmw is doing but other manufacturers performance wise...
550 in the 5 and X variants are flipping quick and nimble... Makes no sense for vehicles that come in weighing the same as a whale, lol...
Never been a suv guy but the new X5 and the Urus are making me sway... Don't need the space but for pure shits and giggles stand point, they're amazing...
Yea amazing what these suvs can do now.. the numbers are impressive
