2020 models have also been manufactured in 2019 (my car is a MY2020 manufactured in 08/2019). By newer cars, I meant cars that were manufactured after a certain month in 2019 (I can't remember which month exactly but I'm guessing 04/19 or 06/19). If your car was manufactured before that and hasn't been in for a service or anything, it should probably have the older software which enable flashing via the obd port. But again, don't take my word for it. This is what I found out after doing some digging and reading online and info from 3-4 others on here and another forum. I'm not saying what I said is 100% correct. Just passing along whatever little info I know. |
My car was manufactured 04/2019 so hopefully the OBD2 port works.
