I guess it's a matter of perspectives. I'm a huge art and fashion fan so Kith collabs mean something to me as well as Street art. If you don't know who Van Gogh is and he was able to paint a car in his style, people would probably think its crap as well.

If you go to a Josh Vides installation you would see things we use everyday made out of cardboard. He then paints them in a pop art form, so the pieces end up looking like 3D works of Pop Art. It really is cool to see in person, but such is art right. I guess if BMW thought of him to be a special artist, who are we to judge.
