I had the same issue on the day I picked my car up.
I tried relentlessly to pair my connect app with the car but no joy.
Then on the 2nd day, whilst the car was parked up I started to get notifications, and everything just started to appear.
It must be the sim card signal in the car, and as soon as its connected for a while it updates.
Have you updated the apps in the car? using the option button, and update apps?
