You are lucky that yourself and other were not harmed by your ignorance.
I live in Buffalo NY. The snow capital. All of my vehicles have winter tires to prevent situations like yours. Not sure what was going on when you thought it was good idea to take the car out or you’re just uneducated in how tires work in different situations.
Either way, this was 100% preventable accident.
