^^^^ My last was a '16 340 too, and this car seems at least two generations more advanced. It seems intuitive that 400(+?) hp with small tires will oversteer without judicious application of power.
Both my old and new 340s have had 19" non rf Michelins. FWIW, I'm pleasantly surprised with the compliance and smoothness of the ride without the $700 "adaptable" suspension. I don't find it stiff at all, just beautifully dampened.
