Seemed to happen when Subaru began collaborating with Toyota on the 86 / BRZ - the Gen 5 Legacy looked a lot more like a Camry than previous generations, particularly vs the gen 3 and gen 4.
Still - asides from the hockey stick element of the tail lights, which do look like the current GS, it doesn't look much like a Lexus, any more than a lot of designs from different manufacturers are starting to look similar through having to place sensors on specific angles, at specific heights etc. The proportions are much better than the IS in typical BMW tradition, and the front end on an IS350 is pretty hideous. The previous generation of the IS was a lot better looking. The interior in the IS is also pretty naff.
