Two things related to the original question:
1) You'll see a photo of the trunk without the space saver spare which I posted, plus an OEM diagram from someone else, in posts #139 and #140 here:

It looks to me like there is a fixed version of the "trunk floor" that is different than your removable version.
2) Can you please post a photo of your trunk with the spare removed for comparison?
