Well known for sure. Many of the forum members have called in and submitted tickets as well to BMW Assist. Dealer won't be able to do much, all you can try is getting a software update to see if it helps (which I'm not willing to do since I don't want something else to break with the update).

BMW Assist just told me they are 'working' on a resolution and the problem is known.

No timeline on resolution unfortunately.
