Well, it's under warranty, right? Take it to a dealer if you notice the same issues again. I did 1,800 miles in 24 hours in my 330i and didn't have any such issues. I don't have DAP, though, just used regular cruise control. The only issue I had was the power steering seizing up towards the end of the trip. Turned it off and let it sit for 2 minutes and it's been fine ever since.
