Lighten up, Francis - no offense meant. I would have said the same for any BMW. I just think all of the pomp and circumstance is silly. You don't, and that's fine. It's a big world in this forum.

But I do find it ironic that you criticize my generalizations...while making a generalization about "typical M" owner. And how did this become about how much money someone makes? I missed that point completely. But please...continue to make assumptions about me although we've never met.

PS - Do you notice that, although I could easily write "M4 and X5M" in my signature, I specifically chose not to? Hmmm...for a "typical M owner" I sure don't use that letter in my vehicle descriptions much.
Completely off topic but the way I read the signature line is: If you don't know what F84, F86 mean, you are not my kind and the signature is not for you.

Just to say people could comprehend the same words differently based on where they are at.

Stereotype-aside, I believe every new car (or even new to the owner) is special to them. We cannot fault BMW to play the emotional card planting loyalty seed from the beginning.
