I've swapped the stock bump stops with the msport bump stops. There's about 1.5 cm difference in the length of the bump stops (see pic).
Also from the pic you can see that the strut has hit the bump stops several times (blackish top) - the stock bump stops were practically new when fitting the bilsteins. hopefully this resolves the bottoming out issue.
