I tried it on the non-HK HiFi system in my car and couldn't notice a difference with the presets (movie theatre, concert etc). With the equalizer, I noticed a difference only when I changed the two on the ends (bass and treble settings) and none in the middle (100Hz, 200, 500 etc). I tested it on SiriusXM.
