I agree with one small caveat, if you're buying I'd really look hard at the Kia, not as storied as the Alfa but I'm going to bet cheaper and more reliable in the long run. Don't get me wrong, there is something special about Alfa and it's history, I love the look of the 4C and 8C but the maintenance would worry me if I was going to own them for a long time.
