I suppose my point was, I'd expected the latest and greatest to work at least as well as that of our older cars. Instead, by making itself felt, I don't think its working as well. I know... first world problems and all that!

Are you familiar with the intensity setting?
I've run a G20 loaner on a couple of occasions, one time over 200 miles. I just set the CC as I'd run my F11. Fully auto, 20C, intensity level 1. Never noticed it doing anything unusual, driving different ambient temperatures.
