I love watching Cam play and have no major problems with his celebrations. But there is no question that he seems to lack a good bit of humility. His TEAM was great all year and his DEFENSE kept him in this game for most of it, as it did many other games this year.
I was so turned off with the gold "MVP" cleats in the beginning and knew it was a terrible omen. He had a hell of a lot of help all season with some great teammates and the media gave him way too much credit. I am hoping this humbles him a bit. But I couldn't be happier for Peyton who has the chance to go out with a ring.
To me the Carolina play calling was terrible for Cam and he held on to the ball way too long. Much credit to Denver and their pressure. No question it won them the game, along with Cam's fumbles. Pretty disappointed in his lack of effort going for that second one. Maybe he thought it was a forward pass.
