Quick update as a lot has happened since the last post.
April 1st, I heard the news that the car is on its way to Poland (from Munich) but this would mean that the car still needs to go through customs, then a local truck driver needs to pick it up and bring it to the dealer, etc.
What are we doing/handling today
- I learned that the car is already released from customs since the SR confirmed to have received the invoices
- We received the leasing offer and insurance offer -> reading through the docs etc but we should have everything finalized by Monday
- The car is probably going to arrive at the dealer any day now (today or early next week)
- Then the car needs to be prepped (cleaned, checked, ...)
- In the meantime, when the car is being prepped, I'm sure I'll get a phone call from the SR to schedule the big day where I'll be taking over the car
Yesterday, the SR called me and he will let me know if the car will arrive on Friday, if so, we can meet up on Saturday so I can have a small sneak preview
I'm not hoping for it because I'm too lucky as it is already.
It's crazy and almost unimaginable how fast everything went, knowing the global situation (shortages, war, ...)
I'm aiming for having the car by end of next week
