I was certain, until you said that. I can’t see logic in shipping from South America to Europe when the main plant is Munich. The whole point of the Mexican Plant is for America with China used for APAC and Australia.
Does is actually say made in Mexico on the VIN plate? Mine was certainly built in Munich and only took a few days from factory to TDC. If it had to come from Mexico it would take a fortnight at least.
