You can spend few hrs yourself reading, and you will be able to make educated decision. And I am talking literature available on internet.
You must take into consideration that oil choice for manufacturers first and foremost depends on how emissions are calculated. The US has CAFE which encourages use of thin oils. EU has different ways of calculating emissions, which is not dependent on thickness of oil as much. Hence, in Europe all these manufacturers recommend different oils with few exceptions.
