IMO no 4 series LCI is imminent, especially for the i4. The i4 concept car was apparently accepted well enough to proceed with production in 2021, and the other new 4 series cars are designed to propel the i4 to market because EV is the future of BMW.
There will be plenty of new buyers to replace those that give up on the 4s this year. In fact, the new 4s, grill and all, could easily sell in far greater numbers than did the slumping coupes did in 2019.
