Man, I must have some serious karma points. She told me today that she was just accepted into a local school. She didn't tell me she applied, as she didn't want to get my hopes up about staying until she knew. Well, she was accepted into an MFA program about 30 mins from our house!
While the school is not quite as good as the one in NYC, it gives us the option to stay here for my job, and allows her to stay in the country.
We have some serious decisions to make over the next few weeks/months, but last week I was concerned we had no options, now we have multiple -- a truly fantastic turn of events.
