In general it seems as a common current trend among the automakers to reduce color options for their models. A pallete now usually consists of white, black, couple of grays, sometimes brown and dark blue tones. Take a look at G30 or modern Volvos: there's literally no other choice except mentioned above. At least G20 still has brighter blue and orange.
This reduction, I guess, makes sense financial-wise: the producers cut some of their costs by having only more popular colors in mass production, at the same time they push customers who want something more exquisite to make an expensive individual order.
