In their defense the kidneys SHOULD be connected and always were in BMWs besides the 90s-10s. |

The current grille is not much bigger than what was seen on the E36. So no...
As someone who drives a car with a separated grille I am not blind to the fact that BMWs are supposed to have a joined grille. They always did have that...you can't change history....and BMW design just seems like they're going back to how it should be...E30 and prior.
