225 or 235 width is ideal for a 8" wide wheel. Max tire width is 245 however the tire shop may have a nightmare trying to get run flats in that size on a 8" wide wheel. And your only choice is 245/35 which is 3.5mm shorter sidewall than the oem tire 255/35.
You may or may not have issues with the speedo accuracy and/or some options such as DA+. I'm just not sure and don't want to recommend in the blind.

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate your feedback. Called NTB this afternoon and they wouldn't do it- ideally if I could put 245's that would be fine, but like you I'm not sure if it would work or if it's even advisable. I am happy with the all seasons, just prefer the staggered look - more sporty. |
Off topic, but I have staggered/mixed tires and never realized they looked different? Or maybe they lied to me too haha I'll go check the tires tomorrow
