Oh yes. I feel the difference too!
Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m coming from an A4 B9 that had a piggyback and intake only. That car did 0-60 in 4.6-4.7s and quarter mile in 13.5s. The 0-100 time was 11.7-11.9s. Compared to that, my G20 didn’t feel as fast. It still doesn’t feel as fast. I’ve been reading up about JB4 but the install is holding me back. Also, I read somewhere that even with a JB4, I can only look at around 4.9s 0-60. And intakes for the g20 aren’t cheap unfortunately. I’d love to get a tune but unfortunately, what happened last time when I tried tuning has left me scarred. I’ll have to wait a bit before I have the courage to try it again. Till then, it’s only piggybacks for me unless I can find a shop that will do it for me.
I know BMW says the xDrive does it in around 5.3-5.4s. Which is why I’m surprised. But like I said. I had a full tank of gas. And it was on a slight incline. I’ll try again a few days later once I’ve managed to empty my tank a bit. I’ll post what happens then here. |
