Sounds too good to be true if you calm down and think about it, F1 and 850csi had same block engines, they could've used 8 series for a mule..... also they showed prototype M8 in pictures before and in flesh on Goodwood Festival of Speed, I don't see why would they keep F1 engined M5 as a secret so long, they showed e34 M5 convertible prototype, e46 M3 estate prototype.
