I had the pleasure of living in the USA for a couple of years. Flag culture is much more established there than back home in Australia and I really enjoyed it.
This photo was taken on Australia day, 26th of January when it is normally scorching hot back home downunder. This was outside my house in Newport News, Virginia. It didn't snow often there but when it did, it sure was beautiful.
PS, Australia day aside, we would display both a US and Australian flag on our home - with correct order of deference to our hosts.
