PS, Australia day aside, we would display both a US and Australian flag on our home - with correct order of deference to our hosts.
Very nice! We just had our first measurable snowfall overnight. I'm not ready for winter yet... I've never visited Australia but when i was in the US Navy back in the late 1980s, our ship got about a day away from Perth where we were supposed to spend a couple of weeks. But something happened in the Middle East, so we turned around and we never went to Perth. I really wish I could have visited.
