What does the efficient dynamics page say? It usually gives a reason for why the ASS has started the engine, e.g.
Intention to turn ( left blinker and radar detects no car in front)
Driver request (I tapped brake weird)
Climate request (wants to heat cabin more)
.. I'm betting there are others for charging system faults
