Effectively you cannot be sure of what you are going to actually get until it completes the build process. I appreciate the issues that manufacturers are dealing with but also trying to think of other examples where this might apply. At its simplest, you order a meal at a Michelin star restaurant and end up with just the veg! Anyway, on a more serious note, on other countries forums there is considerable evidence of monetary compensation for these depleted orders.
