I had a '18 340i (individual). The cars are completely different even though its the same engine/transmission (i believe).
The M340i is heavier but man does this thing have the power to kick. Ride is much more comfortable and feels new with all the technology like the digital dash/map. I liked both but the M340i is the best car in the division. People switch from F80 M3s to M340i and just sing praise about it.
