Correct.
I was hoping I could get my hands on the new version to fix the faults that have emerged from the previous OTA upgrade (Nov 2020, a couple of months ago). Several functions are not working now, including Rev Counter in Sports mode, RTTI, over sensitive PDC issues, various Connected issues, etc, etc. The current version I have is worse than the version I had in the original build in Jan 2020 (which seemed to work very well indeed). |
Are you saying you got 11/2020.xx via OTA?
I have the 7/2020.80 in my 2021 7 series and haven't noticed any glaring issues. And after being a bmw owner for 20+ years I also recognize software "upgrades" are sometimes not upgrades at all. Some issues never get fixed.
